As Co-Chief Executive Officer, Tom Gaston leads Maplewood Senior Living’s growth strategy, guiding the development and acquisition of communities across the organization’s portfolio. With four decades in luxury senior housing, Tom is recognized for identifying new markets and driving strategic growth.
Tom brings a builder’s eye to every project, with close attention to detail and a passion for creating spaces that are as beautiful as they are functional. He approaches each new community with resident experience in mind from the ground up, ensuring that thoughtful design, comfort, and hospitality are built into every space.
Before joining Maplewood, Tom held executive roles at several senior living organizations, including as a principal at Amicus Healthcare and co-founder of Northbridge Senior Living, where he contributed to development, acquisitions, and operations.
Over his four-decade career, Tom has led real estate transactions totaling more than $4.3 billion, including the development of over 3,000 senior living units.
