NEURAL NETWORK: BRAIN, MEMORY, & "CONNECTIONS" WITH DR. BETTS, DR. MILLER, & FRIENDS

Join us online with your family and friends for an engaging global “Brain Networking” event. Dr. Kristen Betts (Drexel University) and Dr. Michelle Miller (Northern Arizona University) will highlight research related to the brain, memory, and neuroplasticity. Dr. Betts will discuss 10 facts you need to know about the brain, learning, stress, and positivity while Dr. Miller will discuss key points from her recently published book on Remembering and Forgetting in the Age of Technology. This interactive event will engage you in community building activities to expand your “neural network” and include a raffle for small gifts.

Dr. Kristen Betts is a Clinical Professor in the School of Education at Drexel University. She has over 20 years of experience and leadership in higher education and online learning. Her research focus is on Mind, Brain, and Education Science, neuropedagogy, lifelong learning, curriculum design, and professional development.

Dr. Michelle Miller is a Professor of Psychological Sciences and President’s Distinguished Teaching Fellow at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona. She completed her Ph.D. in cognitive psychology and behavioral neuroscience at the University of California, Los Angeles, and currently writes, teaches, and speaks about maximizing learning in today’s technology-saturated and rapidly-changing world.
