Corporate Director of Memory Care
As Corporate Director of Memory Care, Adena McGowan leads memory care programming, education, and clinical support across Maplewood Senior Living communities. With more than 15 years of experience, she is dedicated to advancing person-centered dementia care through innovative programming, associate education, and family support. Adena holds a Master of Arts in Clinical/Counseling Psychology from Cleveland State University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from The Ohio State University. She is a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) and a Certified Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Trainer (CADDCT), bringing deep clinical expertise and a collaborative approach to enhancing the quality of life for older adults living with cognitive impairment.
